Are there any restricted hosts that cannot be monitored?

Short answer: Yes.

Longer answer: We don't permit the monitoring of top 500 websites by the general public, but this can be bypassed. Read the below example for more information.


Example

If you work for Facebook.com and you wish to monitor a number of servers, the servers all have hostnames that include *.server.facebook.com. They will be denied by default, as our platform will not allow the general public to monitor common domains. However, if you register an account and your email address is "[email protected]", which shows you are an employee of Facebook, you can contact us and we can lift the domain restriction for your account.
